FEATURED PROJECTS

1. replacing beehiiv

   hubird

   @thenews.cc · 2025 — now

   the news sent its newsletters through beehiiv, which is built for creators. the html came out heavy and full of repeated code, and some editions got too close to the point where gmail clips the e-mail. so we built our own sending infrastructure. some of our sections already go out 100% through it.

   1. 1every line of html in the e-mail is ours
   2. 2blocks that change depending on who’s reading
   3. 3lighter e-mails, with room for more text before gmail clips them
   4. 4every piece of data stored in more than one place
   5. 5an editor made for a news newsletter

2. tns group login

   @thenews.cc

   the authentication every product in the tns group runs on. one place to sign in instead of a login per product.
